Opening Up A Living Space
This home got a whole new look by removing the kitchen pass through and the pantry to create a feeling of generous open space. A vaulted ceiling was added to further expand the area’s volume. Once the construction was completed, the kitchen had space for a large island and expanded dining room.
Large tile throughout the kitchen and family room replaced the carpet. The family room fireplace is framed in polished travertine tile with a flat screen TV mounted above.
A new dining space with custom lighting was created by redesigning and remodeling the old pantry area. The doors were removed and custom cabinetry was installed so there is still easy access to storage and serving space.
To enhance the contemporary look in the kitchen, Wynn Interiors arranged the installation of maple cabinets, stainless appliances, granite counter tops and a stack stone backsplash.
The old stairwell railing has been replaced with a custom maple and steel design which greets you as you enter. It’s open and bright and has more than met the client’s expectations.
